Derek Amyx is an Executive Vice President of Business Development at Oso Midstream and is responsible for evaluating new opportunities in the midstream industry.
Prior to Oso Midstream, Mr. Amyx was the Director of Business Development at Howard Energy Partners for over nine years where he organically originated Howard’s entry into the Mid-Continent basin along with managing Howard’s North Marcellus assets. Previously, he worked in various business development roles within Access Midstream, Williams Companies, and Chesapeake Energy. Mr. Amyx brings 20 years of business development and commercial expertise that spans across all major oil and gas basins. Mr. Amyx holds a degree in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University.
